Purchasing a Water Tap
Animas Water Company as recently updated its process for purchasing water taps for properties located within our service area. Please see the link below for our new process.

If you are ready to apply for a water tap, the Water Service application is below. Please call 970-259-4788 or email awc@animaswatercompany.com with any questions you may have, and to set up and appointment to begin the water tap purchase process.

and submit to AWC prior to scheduled move in date
of new tenant.

Selling my property
Most Transfers due to the Sale of a property should be handled through a Title Company, please verify with your Real Estate Agent that the Title Company has requested final settlement PRIOR to your closing. The Title Company handling the sale of a Property should contact Animas Water Company at awc@animaswatercompany.com to request a final settlement. Animas Water Company will provide the balance on the account as of the date the form is returned to the Title Company. Any scheduled automatic payments will be cancelled, and the statement mailing turned off. This is to ensure double payments are not made during the transition of the property from the Seller to the Buyer.

At times, property owners choose to designate a property manager or other party to manager their property and conduct business on their behalf. Click Here for the steps to add and remove a property manager or other party to you account.
