EMERGENCY OUTAGE - 05.14.2026 - Animas Water Company will be experiencing an emergency water outage that will affect and both sides of the 34000 Hwy 550, Rio Grande Dr, Thompson Lane, Whispering Pines and Pine Acres. The water will be going off immediately for an emergency repair. We are unsure how long the outage will last, but our operators are on site working to restore service as quickly as possible.

If you in this service area and have no water, PLEASE, do not call the emergency pager.

When your water service is restored you may notice discolored water and reduced water pressure during this time.  If you experience discolored water, please allow the cold water to run from your faucets for 5 to 10 minutes until it clears.
